Caring for natural fibres
Our outerwear is crafted from some of nature’s finest fibres — vicuña, baby alpaca, Suri alpaca and merino wool. These natural materials are selected for their exceptional softness, warmth and character. With the right care, they can remain beautiful for many years.
The most important rule is simple: wash less, air more, and allow the fibres to rest between wears.
Between wears
Natural fibres benefit from time to breathe. After wearing, allow your garment to air in a cool, dry and well-ventilated place. Hanging or laying it out overnight is often enough to refresh the fibres and release everyday odours.
Avoid washing simply out of habit. Frequent washing can place unnecessary stress on delicate natural fibres.
Whenever possible, let your garment rest between wears and wash only when necessary.
Vicuña
Vicuña is one of the finest and rarest natural fibres in the world. Its exceptional softness and delicate structure require considered care.
Vicuña outerwear should be washed as little as possible. Regular airing is often sufficient to keep the garment fresh between wears. When cleaning is necessary, we recommend using a professional cleaner with experience in handling luxury natural fibres.
Always follow the care instructions specific to your garment. Handle the fabric gently and avoid unnecessary friction, heat and moisture.
Baby Alpaca
Baby alpaca is naturally soft, warm and breathable, and does not require frequent washing.
Allow your garment to air between wears, preferably overnight in a dry and well-ventilated place. This helps refresh the fibres while preserving their softness and natural character. When washing is necessary, always follow the care label. Use gentle handling and avoid high temperatures, rubbing and wringing.
Suri Alpaca
Suri alpaca is prized for its exceptionally soft, silky and lustrous fibres.
As with our other natural fibres, regular airing can significantly reduce the need for washing. Allow the garment to rest between wears and give the fibres time to recover their natural shape. When cleaning is required, follow the individual care instructions carefully. Avoid heat, friction and twisting, which can affect the delicate surface of the fibre.
Merino Wool
Merino wool is naturally breathable and has excellent moisture- and odour-regulating properties, making frequent washing unnecessary. Air your garment between wears and wash only when needed.
When washing is appropriate according to the care label, use a gentle wool cycle and a suitable wool detergent. Avoid high temperatures and strong agitation, and reshape the garment while damp if necessary.
Storing your outerwear
- Before storing your garment, make sure it is completely dry.
- Keep it in a cool, dry and well-ventilated place, away from direct sunlight.
- Use a broad, supportive hanger for coats and jackets to help maintain the shape of the shoulders.
- Avoid overcrowding your wardrobe and allow the fibres enough space to breathe.
- For longer periods of storage, we recommend a breathable garment bag rather than plastic.

Caring for the surface
Natural fibres may develop small pills through friction, particularly in areas such as the sleeves, sides and underarms. This is a natural characteristic of many fine fibres and does not necessarily indicate a fault.
If pilling occurs, remove it gently using a suitable fabric comb or carefully with a fabric shaver. Never pull individual fibres from the surface.
In case of a stain
Treat stains as soon as possible, but always gently. Do not rub the affected area. Instead, lightly blot with a clean, dry cloth and follow the care instructions for your garment.
For persistent or difficult stains, we recommend professional cleaning by a specialist familiar with fine natural fibres.
